A Timeless Approach

The client came to the project with a clear vision and several familiar interior solutions she wanted to preserve. Rather than abandoning these ideas, they were reinterpreted in a more timeless way. The slatted wall, for example, was finished in the same soft beige as the surrounding walls. By removing the strong contrast and visible wood grain, only the subtle relief remains — creating a calm backdrop for the steel TV cabinet.

Layout that adapts as the child grows

Textile as Art

The existing sofa was also retained. Despite its age, its shape feels surprisingly contemporary and became a natural part of the new interior. Above it, a textile piece chosen by the client was mounted on a minimal rail with hooks, turning it into the central artwork of the living area and giving the room a strong personal identity.

Space for Creativity

As the client is an artist, the room needed to accommodate much more than everyday living. A generous storage system provides space for art supplies and books, while a dedicated desk by the entrance creates a comfortable home-working area. Functionality becomes part of the architecture of the room rather than an additional layer of furniture.

A Bold Centrepiece

Against the restrained beige background, the dining area becomes the most expressive part of the room. A black table with a sculptural ribbed base is paired with yellow chairs, creating a bold focal point without overwhelming the interior. Pendant lights visually define the dining zone, while greenery, an armchair and a coffee table soften the composition and complete the living area.

“I believe that interior design is more than just decoration. It's a reflection of your personality, lifestyle, and needs. I create spaces that are unique for each client. My approach is to make your interior a cozy corner where you feel comfortable, whether you are at home or far away from your familiar surroundings.”
