Classic Meets Contemporary
The starting point for this rented apartment was its existing marble floor and the client’s love for classic interiors. Rather than recreating a purely traditional setting, the design combines classical and vintage pieces with contemporary furniture. The result feels naturally connected to the architecture of the apartment while remaining comfortable and relevant for modern life.
Vintage dining chairs became one of the key elements of the interior. To keep the focus on their expressive silhouettes, they are paired with a minimal black table that creates a calm background rather than competing for attention. A vintage rug beneath the dining area adds another layer of history, while the artwork featuring horses brings a personal detail into the composition, reflecting the client’s passion for riding.
Comfort in a Classic Setting
The living area brings a contemporary layer into the otherwise classic setting. A generous corner sofa by SOFACOMPANY provides everyday comfort, while a movable pouf can extend the seating area or create additional sleeping space for guests. In contrast, the electric fireplace with classic panel detailing anchors the composition and creates a natural focal point for the TV area.
A Personal Welcome
The irregular shape of the room created an opportunity for an additional welcome area near the entrance. A small ottoman turns this transitional space into a place to pause, sit down or join a conversation while someone is in the kitchen. Personal artworks collected by the client during her travels complete the TV area, ensuring that the interior feels not simply styled, but genuinely connected to its owner.

“I believe that interior design is more than just decoration. It's a reflection of your personality, lifestyle, and needs. I create spaces that are unique for each client. My approach is to make your interior a cozy corner where you feel comfortable, whether you are at home or far away from your familiar surroundings.”
