Two Functions, One Room
The bedroom needed to combine two very different functions: a calm sleeping area and a dedicated space for exercise. Rather than allowing sports equipment to become part of the bedroom interior, the workout zone was placed behind a folding screen. This simple division keeps both functions within one room while preserving the peaceful atmosphere of the sleeping area.
Vintage as a Starting Point
The starting point for the bedroom was a vintage armchair that the client had purchased before the project began. Its distinctive colour and character influenced the rest of the interior and are echoed in the artwork and bed textiles. Restored vintage bedside tables continue this idea, bringing pieces with history into an otherwise calm and contemporary composition.
Room to Breathe
The main sleeping area was intentionally kept open and uncluttered. With a separate dressing room elsewhere in the apartment, there was no need to introduce wardrobes or additional storage systems into the bedroom. This allows the bed, vintage pieces and artwork to remain the focus, while the existing marble floor becomes an integral part of the composition.
Old & New in Balance
As in the living room, the bedroom is built around a dialogue between classic character and contemporary comfort. Vintage furniture adds individuality, while the restrained composition and carefully repeated colours keep the room fresh and relevant. The result is a personal retreat that feels collected over time rather than designed all at once.

“I believe that interior design is more than just decoration. It's a reflection of your personality, lifestyle, and needs. I create spaces that are unique for each client. My approach is to make your interior a cozy corner where you feel comfortable, whether you are at home or far away from your familiar surroundings.”
